Default mini-me questions?

I have been reading just about every post that i can find. It seems like there is not to much info on the 1.5 mini-me's. So I have just a couple of questions.
From people with experience with the 1.5 mini-me

1) with the y8 or z6 head, what cam would i be able to use without worrying about clearance issues.

2) who has ran a chipped pr3, p28, chipped pm6 or pm6 with vtec controller, or zdyne one wire conversion on a sohc vtec? Which runs better?

3) If I do an obd-1 conversion do i still need the injector resistor box?

i have an 89 civ hb dx

1. What aftermarket cam? The compression isnt raised that high, and I would assume all aftermarket and stock cams will be just fine. (unless this was going on a 8valve D15)

2. I have ran a few different setups, 1 wire zdyne works the best... also have done a PM6 w/ a VAFC.. works just fine if you tune it on a dyno w/ wideband o2 support.

3. A injector resistor box depends on what type of injectors you use, most all obd1 injectors are saturated, so no, you wouldnt need the resistor box. 88-91 si injectors are hold & peak and will need a resistor.
