Default HELP AC is not working?!!!!

Well i it happens to be one of the hottest days in Nor Cal and i went to turn on my AC and i got nothing. NO cold air just hot air. So i get to the house And i am checking for fuses for the AC-- i dont see any. Reset the ECU still nothing. So i turn the car on let it run for 3 min and i hit the AC button.
Well u know how when you turn AC on the car hesitiates and you can here the compressor, well i got nothing and my cooling fans are not running. WTF could be the problem!! This is on a 5th gen!!

I had an AC problem last year that took about a month and 3 mechanics to fix. I replaced everything and it still would only work part of the time and then stop for no reason. It ended up being the dash controls. $50 later the thrid mechanic reweld the points and fix it.

the prelude i'm gonna get is having the same problem. i think the compressor is messed up. and what buttons do you have to press to get a/c to come out of the front middle vents? i tried the ones with the air blowing in your face, in your face and legs, at legs, basically everything, and it still dosn't come out. my only guess is that the blower could be bad? what do you think? how would i go about checking this? thanks.

IF your compressor doesn't come on, don't think right away that the compressor is shot. If there is no charge in the system, the computer won't let the compressor come on so that is doesn't burn itself out. You probably have a leak somewhere. Go get it charged with the green dye and find where the leak is.

You could check the connection on the ac pressure switch, take out the plug and measure the resistance on the pins of the switch, if they are shorted out then the freon is ok, check to see if the connections on the plug and the switch need cleaning, I have to clean mine every year or two.
