help.. with installing honda access pedals
i'm trying to drill into the metal part of the pedals, but the drill bit keeps on slipping from where the holes are supposed to go, does anybody know of a way to keep the bits from slipping all over the place. iknow some people here have these pedals intalled, some help would be great.
Push the clutch down...that will help with that pedal
The brake and gas were started with the Dremel tool. One of the round-end attachments made a nice starting spot for the drill bit..
A few of the holes were slightly off. But not noticeable.

BY THE POWER OF GRAYSKULL!
The attachment I used was a little ball end that was ~ 0.5 mm in dia. After you get a nice crater in the pedal... switch back to the drill.
That worked for me.

i just finished the clutch, finally some progress, ....but the rubber cover on the gas pedal looks hard to take off, and also, for the dead pedal do you just put it on top of the rubber, or do you have to take that off too. thanks willie,
The dead pedal does not have rubber on top of it...
Just remove the 2 bolts that hold that in and do the work outside the car.
The other 3 pedals will have you spending a long time under the dash.
The gas pedal plastic cover was easy once I got a knife wedged under the bottom lip. It was just a matter of pounding it up and off.

Willard is correct ... is easier to remove the plastic dead pedal and do the work outside the car. The plastic gas pedal cover will come off ... just use a screwdriver under the bottom lip as stated. On the metal pedals ... I used a "hole starter punch" to make a small mark so the drill bit would not slide off the pedal. Also, I used a 90 degree drill bit device that made it easy to drill the holes.

this is why I like the mugen pedals. No drilling, no fuss.
To get the gas pedal cover off, I pried at the top and bottom with a pair of pliers to bend up the little tab that is holding it on, then just tug down and it slides right off.
