Y8 intake manifold worthed?
Ihave a d16y8, obd-0 with the 89-81 Si intake manifold. My brother is giving away his y8 manifold...
Is it worth the hassle to put it on my car? I want some reviews...

Not really.
the runners are as thin as the A6 runners.
The only worth while difference is the plenum which is considerably bigger.
I say if you can get a complete one with the IACV which is different from the one in the CRX and you also get the fuel rail then go ahead and do it.
BTW, you will also need the throttle body or a B series T/B since the CRX T/B will not bolt up.

Yes it is definately worth it... idk, the runners look way bigger to me, and they're also shorter. The A6 manifold is kind of a bottleneck for that motor.
I have been told that it is a great intake manifold to use for D series motors, and it will add some power. Not sure how true it is but. I am gonna use it on my Z6 when I get it built.
