B18B in ek, suspension mods needed?
Ok, I am getting ready to swap in a b18b into my 97 civic hatch and was wondering if anything to the suspension needs to be done due to heavier weight in the front. I'm not sure how much extra weight the b18b is compared to the d16, but I was thinking that if it was conciderably heavier, stiffer springs might benefit. Right now I have a set of H&R race springs all around and a set of Tokico HPs, both the springs and shocks are specifically for my car.
What kind of setups are you all running and how does it drive?
I did a search and could not find much on this topic only for a H-deuce deuce.

you do not need to alter the suspention but it never hurts. if u dont, nothing will happen. b16a comes stock in japan in those cars so its all good. b16 and b18 are about the same weight. right now im using GC coilovers and there aiight, not the best. i want some sort of shock. ya know?
Yeah, you don't really need to altar your suspension. If only had springs and stock struts, I may have recommended it. But you got fine suspension for it all. It may sit .5-1 inch lower. But your fine, and proceed with the swap! GL. Hit me up with an IM if you have any question about your swap.
