I have stupid tuner lugs on and the key has stripped the key hole alittle....so the key does not turn the dam lug.......anyone know how to remove these damn things without breaking off the lug bolt and replacing it or is there another way....im waiting for my volk lugs....thanks

 

Just break it and then replace the bolt

 

If your getting new lugs anyway, you can take a socket the barely fits on and hammer it onto the lug. Make sure that the socket fits really tight and then use a rachet or whatever and takem off. Or you can go down to you local rim shop and they can probably help you out with their extra keys.

 

i had this same problem with soem cheap tuner lugz. i took it to the shop and they tried the tight fitting socket over the lug and they enfded up going througn about 10 different sockets b4 they gave up on that idea. there were 2 options after that the worst one was to take it to a mufler shop and have them cut it off with a torch and ruining the wheels or giving a new idea a try. the shop had this tool that goes on the air ratchet and its like a mini jack hammer and goes back and forth really fast and hard against metal. they did 5that and the lugz cam right off. unfortunately this happend to all 16 of my lugz cuz i had tuner lugs on all wheels. hope the best for you. oh yea and all i had to do was buy the mechanics lunch.
