rear running lights?
my friend has a 88 lx, that he picked up for a cool $400
. anyways just wandering why the rear running lights would not be working on the car. The brake lights work fine but, you would never know that his lights were on unless, you were in front of him. Also the corners are out. Really i just need to know why the rear running lights wouldnt come on, and if someone could direct me to a site or pic, of a fuse diagram for the 88-91 civics. He is also missing that too. any help would be appreciated

so the rear running lights and front corner lights are out?? i think i know the problem, on the signal light leve, turn the headlight switch forward one click. theres no daytime running lights on these cars, you have to turn them on yourself.

even when the light switch is turned forward once, as if you were just going to run your corners and not the head lights, the rears still wont come on. Im thinking it may be a fues or relay somewhere, but without the diagram under the dash we have no idea where to look.

yeah i even checked the bulbs and bought new ones anyways, that didnt seem to help though. im thinking it must be some sort of relay or fuse. Just dont knwo ehre they are located on this car.

Or it could be a bad switch.

thanx, i may have to have a closer look at them in the morning. Does anyone know where i can find a fuse diagram that is supposed to be located underneath the dash. A site or pic would be helpful.
