One of my friends was thinking about an getting an s2000 but wanted to know if they get stolen alot?

 

nope... i've heard of mostly the seats getting stolen, never the entire car.... probably because s2k parts only work in an s2k...

 

I've only ever heard of one getting stolen on s2ki.com

there was a really nice MCB-painted s2k in florida that got stolen in broad daylight. if they want your car, they'll get it some how.

..and also antennas

 

prob one of the main reasons that it dosent' get stolen is owners are smarter in where they park, keep, lock, etc the car than regular civic, integra, accord, etc...

 

I park mine wherever I want. You can't worry about **** like that.

Obviously if you drive an ITR it might be a little different.

very true. i would rather walk an extra 20ft than park it next to two dodge ram pickups
