stock bore size yes, is this a daily driven car? what octane fuel will you be using, I would be very weary of putting these pistons in my car due to the very good possiblity of detonation!

Yeah they will go right in. I just had a set installed in my ITR along with my Toda C's.

I would suggest a J&S Safeguard or some other type of knock sensor. The compression ratio with these pistons is somewhere in the 12.1:1 to 12.2:1 area.

I'm running 93 octane daily driven.

Did you not have to worry about piston to valve clearance issues or wristpin location? Are you telling me they bolt up, meaning i can slap some in and not worry bout anything??

Somebody told me today that the CTR pistons only gave the type r 11.6:1, but you guys say it is in the 12's. Are you guys certain about this, and do you think that 12:1 compression can be tuned to use with pump gas??

we in Australia gets 98 octane, so higher compression shouldnt be that matter.
just checkin if all the valve clearance and everything is allrite, and the car will be running powerFC, and powerFC has knock sensor.

TUF2BT, we spent like 12 hours in total tuning the car with powerFC up to a small little point in everypoint of the tuning, and that is the result you get if you spend good time with tuning.
I gained around 20kW at the wheels with powerFC. that is from pure stock.

also, JDM 4-1 gives me all overall good performance and gained around 6kW from the last mod at the peak power.

Yes as long as you don't mill the head.

no other head work will be done besides port and polish, camshaft, spring, & retainer.

No worries at all about clearance. I have a stock head. No milling.

Wrist pins were not a problem.

I have an ITR. Should be the same as GSR as far as just putting them. No problems.

you just need to have the machinist fit the rods to the pistons, it does not install like stock, they need to be modifed.

gettin a new itr shortblock , i wonder if i should put new ctr pistons in. My head is milled 20 thousands. I think that would be way too high on pump gas.since I have a gsr head.

I think the other thing yo have to be concerned with is the angle of the valves with the milled head in relation to the pistons...

I know the WISECO (Endyn) pistons have a slightly better angle (READ: Valve Friendly) than the CTR units. There has also been some development work into creating a better anti-knock design....
