Kenji P28 into 2001 ITR...Need info please
Last night I bought a Kenji setup with harness from a friend of mine. I'm about to go try and put it in, but just wanted a heads up from any other people using this similar setup to find out how simple it should be. It looks to be pretty much just an unplug/plug in kind of swap. Is this the case? Also, I had a local shop install a VAFC 2 years ago and dont know if that will have to be re wired to the new ecu or if that should be a direct plug in as well. Any help would be appreciated. I haven't even taken the kick panel off yet so I don't even know what kind of wire mess is hiding under there just yet Thanks again guys

Then just unplug the old ecu, and plug in the conversion harness/new ecu. So ease.
The VAFC is connected to your car's wiring harness, so you won't have to worry about that at all.

It's done, couldn't have been any easier, just wanted to check with my fellow H-T members before trying something new. I reset my VAFC and will be retuning on the dyno in the next week or so. Thanks again
yes it is. its open for individual sessions - just not dyno days. he wont be doing any until he goes in-ground at his new facility.

cj's pricing for individual appointments beats down kwai by far. and with the new inground dyno it will be affordable as well, since he can host dyno days again. benson told me his prices for tuning and i balked. $200/hr.

I just installed my kenji ecu and conversion harness last week, it took less than 5 min... plug and play. Im very happy with the ecu too, much smoother powerband and a fat midrange. Its like night and day over the stock ecu.
No, OBD1 electronics does not have some of the sensors/solenoids that OBD2 equipped vehicles have.
Switching from OBD2 to OBD1 is for off-road use only.
