simple, remove the cluster, and remove the 3 screws in the rear of the cluster, which holds the tach down, then just swap it over to the USDM cluster.
so you end up with that pic above.
how do i know when i never owned a prelude?

Not 100% right most yea , the 3 screw's on the tach on the USDM are like triangle angle and the JDM is triangle but diffrent rotation so you cant bring over the jdm tach to the Usdm Clutser, tried and failed.

Honda's are the same but when you import hondas to USA there always gonna be that Amercian man say no he don't like it that way so make changes. ain't a honda if it ain't from Japan where the tru power and toys are ,we get stuck with the Left over parts that they use in japan
