Default How long have your sleeves lasted?

Hey all, the reason im asking is cause i recently went through a little setback. I was getting my car tuned yesterday after a nice and easy 2200km break in period. Get her on the dyno and at 20psi start shooting coolant all over the place. At first they thought it was the head gasket. Well it turned out my NEW 84.5mm sleeves, one of them cracked, cylinder #3. These sleeves were of the "T" top design. It seems this has happened before with these guys (Leitner Performance) and now im debating wether to even bother with another set or just get my cash back and go elsewhere.

let me know what you guys think.

Thanks.

i always never recommend going over 84mm bore. as it make the sleeve real thin and prone to failure.

darton even recommends this for sure too. i think GE does too. but not for sure.

differs between maker.
