It was my first book purchase as well. but keep in mind that its not the bible of turbo hondas. there are some thing in there that really is no longer true. For example if you follow corky's book, you would run very low compression for a realtively modest boost pressure. I can't remember the exact numbers but it was something like 8.0:1 if you were running 92 octane at only 10psi. There are guys running 10.0:1 with more boost pressure and they are just fine. Its all in the tuning and right now we have thing like Hondata and aem ems that can allow us to surpass the numbers put up back then.

I would still highly recommend this book, but use it as a guide and then verify your findings on the board here. this way you can get some current "real world" figures pertaining to your engine.

it's not specifically for hondas but turbo in general so that's why some stuff he said does not really apply to honda engines but nonetheless it's a very good book.
