i just wrecked my crx Si today, and i found an HF today that i am getting. i need to know what all would i need to swap besides the obvious stuff from my car, to make that hf an Si. i have a whole car to work with so its not like i will be needing to go out and buy anything. just let me know every part that will go over to the new crx. is the suspension different at all? this is my main concern since i know most everything else.

 

basicllay you can transplat all the good stuff/ the shocks and struts will carry over and the spindles I dont know what engine you are going to use, the engine is a 1.5L rather than a 1.6L the engine will go in but dont know if you have to use the mounts from the si to do so.anything like that will carry over I know I had to buy a mirror for my passanger side and I upgraded the seats if there is any other info you can e-mail me. I chucked my 1.5 L engine for the big dog B16A1.

 

I BELIEVE you may have to swap your front knuckle assembly for the Si model. From what I understand, some of the HFs actually use different style knuckles than the Si's. But again, you have all the parts so it's not really a problem.

 

well now i don't have the HF, they sold it. i thought that he would never sell it. but now all i have is my Si so i am going to just sell it for what i can get for it.
