anyone have pics of a painted carbon fiber hood?
I want to get mine painted...I was told that the paint would not come out looking oem due to the "ripples" in the hood...so i wanted to see. also, how much you paid for it would be good info. thanks everyone.

if you got a shitty carbon hood then dont paint it... get a better one w/o ripples chief. stop trying to save a buck for the looks...
you want a painted hood throw your hood back on or get an aerogear fiberglass hood and paint it and save your money.

thie vis hood i used to have was perfect
if you wanted somethin that matched ur car and was light fiberglass was the way to go
but hte way i think the VIS hood is oneof the heavier carbon hoods out there
