greddy blue box universal?
Is the greddy blue box univerisal between obdII cars?
Example, will a blue box for the 98LS work for a 97 GSR?
I emailed greddy and they told me the fuel manangement was different between LS and GSR kits.
I did a search and found that people were saying it was universal for OBdI civics. Just wanted to verify.
Thanks

i don't think it'd work too well. GReddy designed the GSR blue box with a fuel map once the car goes into VTEC x-over. the LS doesn't have that, so if you hook that onto a GSR ecu, you'll probably get a code everytime you try and get into VTEC.

I don't see why it would get a code. Blue box just keeps ecu from seeing manifold pressure and adjusts fuel based on the MAP.
hummm.. anyone else?
Anyone wanna sell me a GSR blue box?

Because it happened to me.
I kept getting a code 3 everytime I tried going into VTEC x-over, and when I asked GReddy about it, they told me to send it to them. They called up a few days later and told me the blue box I was using hadn't been flashed for VTEC.
so they re-flashed it w/o charging me anything.

did they ask for a reciept or anything?</TD></TR></TABLE>
yeah, I had to fax them a copy of the sales receipt before they'd let me send it in. it took like 3 tries before they finally said they received it.
