Default Mini-me Question (Best Route?)

id like to know if this will work. i am going to convert my car to obd 1 and since the y8 is obd 2 i cant use all its parts. ill be using y8 head with a z6 cam and a z6 ecu. z6 inejctors and z6 dist. so i can have the higher compression y8 with all the obd1 components. am i right or is there an easier way?

nah, your set up is probably the easiest and best way to go.

also do i need an obd 1 thermostat and obd 1 vehicle speed sensor? the more i think about it the more i just want to stay obd 0. is it a big power increase with obd1 compared to obd 0? if i run a setup like nighthunt6's and get it tuned it will run as good as an obd 1 motor right?
