yes. here are your steps:

unomount tires
strip off everything with aircraft stripper
sand out any curb checks
use finer sandpaper to sand that
clean with soap and water
let dry
prime
wetsand
paint
wetsand
clearcoat
wetsand

You will now have your very own CTR replicas.

IMO.... don't strip with aircraft paint remover. I did and it was a bitch to actually strip it completly. Best thing to do is to scuff up the OEM paint, clean, degrease, wash with dish washing soap to remove any grease and use the duplicolor wheel paint. Also use the Duplicolor wheel paint clear coat. it gives it a nice shine and it will be easier to clean.

Aircraft stripper is the best when you use the aerosol form, spray it on, let it sit for a while, then the paint usually just comes right off.

Don't waste your time using air craft remover etc, even sanding.

I busted out some carb cleaner, and steel wool- just to get all the dirt off and remove all grease. Then painted them with Duplicolor. Color looks great and they'll last just as long as a wheel that was stripped. Paint will still to well prepped paint, just as well, if not better than it will to a stripped/primered wheel....

don't waste your time...they're only wheels

I used the aerosol one. Have you ever stripped a HX wheel? When I did it it was a bitch because under the layer of paint, is a layer of primer. the primer is the ******* one.

like dood said above me, its a waste of time.
