got my new turboxs rfl BOV,,what should it sound like
im going to mess with it a lil tomorrow,,
they give u like 7 washers,,and u just put them in there if the spring needs to b tighter,
right now i dont have any washers in there
and at full throttle it lets off a big woosh,,followed by a long whistle
what do most of your sound like
should i just keep putting 1 washer in there,,and test it out??
do any of your rfls have washers in it??

cant remember the site , but if you do a search and hit "best BOV" there alink to site where the have sound clips of most of the bovs, including rfl. Its like alltrac.net or com i dont know. Maybe someone will repost it.
Btw the sound clip i believe was on a WRX at idle, enver ehard it on a honda, but didnt really like the sound.

it wont change how much boost your car runs but it will change how much it holds. try the 3 washers and see what happens.

well i messed with the BOV a lil
had none,,then put 1,,then 2,,then 3,
i cant really decide if its helping or not
i know with 3,,there is no whistle after the whooosh,
and the whoosh isnt as loud as on 0-2 washers
,i do notice on all of them,
at about,,if im crusin in 4th,(i have a 93 GSR tranny with 93 LS motor turboed)
and i floor it a lil,
when the booste guage gets to in the middle of .0and .5,,it will flutter,,.and stay there for a couple seconds,,then go past it
and at full throttle it will hit about 1-2 lines past .5
,
what lbs am i runnin at full throttle??is 2 lines past .5,,7lbs??
well,,i think im gonna go talk to the shop,,and see what they thing
i really need to video tape the guage,,and make sure i can hear the BOV at diff rpms..then go back to look at the tape
