Are Slipstreams really that played out?
Are they as played out as everyone makes them to be? I don't know about you guys, but I live in NY and I've only seen them TWICE, evAr!
Are they really that played in your area, or just on H-T?
I was actually considering a set, just because I never see them in real life around here...

They seem 'played out' on this board because most everyone here likes pretty much the same style.... I've only seen them a couple times in real life.... they aren't my favorite rims, but they look pretty good, and I wouldn't let the fact that people say they are 'played out' sway my decision either way...

And i thought slipstreams were an internet myth... ive never seen anyone with rotas here in NYC... frankly, i mostly just see stock integras about.

No, this guy's poor car was stolen and thieves had a field day with it. They wrecked it on purpose.

I love the style, I dont get hot something can be played out, not everyone and their mother has them, well thats just my opinion, Im not gonna throw a lot of cash on rims...400 they look nice **** thats all I want

You expect mugen or spoon wheels to make it through a crash like that? if u do your living in a fantasy land. even the brake rotor didn't make it out of that crash.

yeah, i see them all over the net, but in the real world, i've only seen like 2 sets. I still don't think they're that great of a rim, though, style-wise, I mean. so yeah, I'm not a real big fan of Spoons, either.
