Instead of getting itr lma's, could I run a looser valve adjustment than stock without harm? I have Crower stg 3's (the 403) I was curious....

Valve adjustment does not address the issue of LMA's that are not up to the task. The VTEC lobes of the cam push the mid rockers down all the way, whether VTEC is engaged or not.

Valve lash, valve clearance-same same G.I.
The space between the cam lobe and the rocker arm.

I saw a movie once that had that phrase and I stole it. "Same-same, G.I."
Some Asian chick talking to a soldier in some war movie. G.I. = government issue.

Not too beaucoup... This is just pure Alabama Blacksnake.
ITR/GSR/CTR valve lash = .007" intake and .008" exhaust, just to keep it sorta on topic.

Toda recommends 0.20mm exhaust and intake. Stock is .17mm (+/- 0.02mm) intake, 0.19mm exhaust (+/- 0.02mm).
