Yep...im finally done with my swap. Its EG with a b18b and s80 tranny...also converted from auto to manual. Well it hauls...i was spinnin tires wen shiftin from 1st to 2nd and chirped in 3rd. Also took on a 328is and left him behind. My highway speed is like 57mph at 3000rpms. My friend brought up somethin interesting though...it sounds like i have vtec lol, and the noise does kick in at like around 5500 and it does keep pulling...i dont feel no loss in power. What could be causing that??

are you asking if your non-vtec engine has vtec??

look for a vtec solenoid. that should make it pretty concrete for ya.

 

haahah im not asking that...i know it doesnt...its jus strange thats all, i kno both me and my friend arent going crazy...maybe im jus use to a sohc vtec
