Where should i set my Vtec point?????
ok, i just got a fields controller off a friend and i have heard i need to up my vtec point when u install the skunk2 intake manifold.
can anyone let me know what a good point to set it at??

otherwise just play around with it and see what you like. since you have a GSR you'll probably benefit from a lower x-over point.

set it at different places and leave it wherever vtec spike can not be felt. You want a smoothe powerband so the ideal place to set vtec is the point where you do not feel vtec, but only hear it. If you do not do any a/f tuning, I don't think anyone here can help with your question. Personally I wouldn't touch anything unlesss on the dyno, but good luck.

seriously, leave it at the vtec activation point until a dyno can be used. the "butt" dyno doesn't work too well, and i have a big butt, so i should know
