'87 Accord climate control module...
Sorry I searched but didn't find what I was looking for. There are a couple of burnt out bulbs behind the fan control switch and on the slider piece on the temperature control. How do I take it out to replace? They do light up right?
Just use 1 or 2 flathead screwdrivers and -carefully- pop off the 2 ***** (temp selector and fan speed). Then take the flathead screwdriver and, once again -carefully-, stick it in the crack (there's a little lip) between the slider part and the buttons, and gently pry the slider part off. It's sorta hinged on the bottom, so the top will pop out, then you can grab it and pull it the rest of the way out after unplugging the electrical plug from the back (right in the middle). You'll probably have to get the bulbs from the dealer, unless you can get a bunch at the junkyard. The bulbs are a 1 piece thingy with the base being a round plastic piece, with a small indentation for a flathead screwdriver to twist it out. Then just plug it back in, snap it back in place, and pop the ***** back on.
