aem? and do i buy it for a 88 crx si?

ebay=cheap & just as effective, just get a good filter to go w/it

i know i have a b16 if i went with the aem cai should i get it for a 88 crx si? so it will fix around the battery perfect?

I used a civic si 99-00 aem cai, works good, but had to move the battery to the back. (I also have a B16)

thanks, but dont feel like relocating the battery? will a 88 crx si aem cai fit perfect though?

I dunno, i don't think so cause it has to go into the hole right near the fender which is where the battery sits basically, but i could be wrong, but it all depends if u really want the CAI instead of the ram

i had a cold air that i got rid of b/c i didn't want to move the battery & that seemed like the only way to go about it.......

Heres a pic of how the aem cai fits with a b16....now this motor had a ITR intake manifold which actually sits lower than the b16 manifold, but the aem still fit ok........never had problems with it hitting the battery...

I have it on my car, actually selling my AEM used for 6 months now, going turbo, even have a bypass valve. PM me if u want it

its a piece of pipe. if you feel like paying $200 fora piece of pipe, be my guest. I on the other hand would rather save the money and buy something without a name brand on it and save 150 bucks..

thats what i went ahead and did, i got me a regular intake, bo bo intake but they all work the same right, saved me 150 bucks. thanks for the replies.

Yeah I recommend the ebay CAI, its cheap and the one I got off ebay is of great quality.

aem cai + b16 are great together, but the 99-00 si is bigger, i have the 88 crx si aem and a b16

think about it? How hard is it to bend metal (even mandrel) for an intake. I'm sure most muffler shops could do it, if they wanted to. No brand is prob. just as good, just buy a good filter. (K&N, HKS, etc...)

that's teh intake that I had & gave away b/c my battery was in the way- it was like $40 shipped or close to it.
