I found a used DC 4-2-1 SS and heat wrapped for 150. It had a dent, but was in pretty good condition. As for the CAI, I think you can use the 99-00 si CAI> not posititve tho, i think you have to move the battery.

for the cai, use the one made for the 88-91 crx si. if you are looking for aem, a good price on it is like $159 and the dc header in stainless a good price is around $320. these are how much i got mine for. or you can get some cheap brand and the cai will be like $80 and the header will be like $125

well by what i understand the 4-2-1 design is set up to provide more power in the lower to mid RPM.
but the 4-1 will provide more high end RPM power.
4-2-1=power increase from idle to about 5000 rpm and help a lil top end. perfect for autoXing and daily driving.
4-1=power increase from 6000 and up and also help low end a bit but not as much as a 4-2-1 setup will. perfect for dragracers who launch thier cars at about 4000 spin till about 6000 and shift at red line landing around 6000
but if i am getting a B16 you sure the AEM CAI for the CRX SI will fit the B16 throttle body?
or should i go with the 90-93 AEM CAI?

I agree... 4-1 has best top-end power, 4-2-1 has more midrange power.
I'm using a CRX Si CAI from AEM. It works well but I wish I'd gotten a Civic SiR piece '99-'00

If you get the one for the crx it will not match up with the diameter of the throttle body.

i geuss everyone is gonna let you buy it and then tell you that it won`t fit because of the x-member. so i`ll tell you now . IT WON`T FIT! you need a place or jimfab for it to work . i used a kamikaze and it works o.k. but i did it cause of my previous plans to supercharge my b16.

I've seen it done, but it don't look to secured. Someone rotated the battery and kind of moved it towards the dizzy. I'm not sure though if he was running the cold air intake for the crx or the 00 si. And about the header not fitting, it fits, you just have to take a little piece out of the cross member.

DO NOT get a jdm dc header for a b16 if you're running it in a crx...thats shiet hangs way too low. in a b18c the jdm itr is flush w/ the oil pan, but w/ the jdm dc its like an inch lower

I have a dc header on my b16 and my car is at stock height and I have no problem at all with clearance, if its to low for your liking make a shield to protect it from scraping. Also about the b18 header, the b18 is a taller engine, so if you put a b18 header on a b16, wouldn't that sit lower then a header intended for a b16 ?
