any1 replaced the main crank seal on their Z6?
main crank seal, thats the tranny side right?
look for a write up on how to pull a tranny.
then use a crank pulley holder or lock the flywheel up with a screw driver and take off the clutch, presure plate, and flywheel.
Then you will see the seal itself attached to a metal plate that is bolted onto the block. 4-6 10mm bolts holds it in with a decent amount of hondabond, so just ply the plate out.
now you have the plate and the seal by sitself, knock the seal out, replace the seal, and mount the plate back into the block and install everything back in.

dont waste your time taking that plate off... on some hondas you have to remove the oil pan as well to get this plate off because there is a lip on the bottom that goes behind the oil pan... just get a small pick and you can pull the seal out of the bore... then put a little moly base grease on the lip of the new seal and seat it in place... this is in the case of the rear main... he never specified if he was doing the front main (timing belt side) or rear main (flywheel side)
