Default Your opinions on Yoko AVS ES100 (195/60R14) or something similar

Want something sort of sticky that works well in the rain ('cause it's rained every day I've been here so far) and that can last ~20,000 miles under normal use.
Any better suggestions?

I currently have the AVS ES100's on the stock rims in 195/60/14. They are very good tires in the dry. I have never used them in the rain yet, but should be good due too the tread design. They are kind of expensive though.

i have the es100s in 205-50-15 and they are excellent in the rain and dry. A decent comprimise for the 280 treadwear.

I'm riding on the es100s (195/50/15) great tires.. 55 each shipped from tire rack about 6 months ago. good grip and decent in the rain.

I have the 205/50/15 yokos and I love em; they do handle great in dry and wet conditions and they are not loud at all like the parada.

because the potenza's are out of most peoples price range. they are excellent tires from what i know, just expensive as hell. I guess you get what you pay for.

The ES100s are a great tire. I just mounted up a set for my roomates G20 on his stock rims, 14s, 195/60. They are a pretty descent tire for overall street use, they've got a suprisingly stiff sidewall, and should grip pretty descent. Remember most street tires are as good as they get right out of the box, they need be broken in. After the initial 1000 miles you should be able to feel them getting better...

Stick with yokes... I run the A032s and they are loud in turns, but then again I'm turning at 15mph faster than any street tire!!! Good onramps at well over 60mph!! that's 205/50-15
