Default Need help on exhaust for hatch

A guy I know of is selling a Apex N1 catback that he took off of his ITR, I was wondering if it would fit on my 92-95 hatch? I'm no exhaust wizard but he said it would fit on 97-98 ITR's and 00'-01 ITR's, any help is appreciated.

It will work, but you will have to have the B-pipe shortened by a muffler shop. Also, the tip will stick out a little from the back.

Do you know (guess?) how far it may stick out? I don't want a ricey looking exhaust on my car. I just want to know all of this before I go get it b/c he's selling it fairly cheap. BTW the mod in the ITR room said "It will not fit."

It will fit but it will haft to be modified....

i just put the apexi n1 full cat on my hatch..and it hangs really low and i also got problems with it touching my gas tank so i had to get a muffler shop to bend it up a little....but otherwise the sound is awesome...its worth it
for the Apexi N1

Ok the guy is selling the catback for 250, How much did you pay for it new? Would it just be better to buy from him or get it new? + where did you get/order it from? Thanks

i'd just get a new one, by the time u finish having an exhaust shop make it work u will be close to the price of a new exhaust system.

What he said. You can get a good used one for that much. I got my DCSports (used) for $250 2-3 years ago.

Ok one more question. Would it be better for me to get a Apexi N1 catback or axleback? I don't need something extremely loud, but rather a nice deep tone. Or should I get a HKS hiper catback which i've heard good things about. Anybody have any exp. with either or both of these? Thank you.
