Leave for Asheville NC from P1 around 12pm ish for a 3pm ETA.
6-7pm ish, group supper (walking distance from the hotel [forgot the name of the joint])

Sunday 15th:
EARLY AM, Run the Gap!!!! disperse afterwards

I learned something while raping the Gap last Saturday.... A Tennesee state trooper informed me that the speed limit on the Tenn. side is 30 mph. BTW, I had this converstation as he examined my license and registration after clocking me at 53mph that heavenly road. There I sit in a partially gutted ITR with harnesses, Kirky seat and Victoracers....and he let me off Yes I'm a lucky bastard!

It's about fuggin' time...20+ years of driving and never had a warning...only pink slips!

This was my third trip to the Gap in as many years and I always thought it was 45mph on NC side and 40mph on Tenn. side...Wrong! After my encounter I looked for signs and found a 30mph sign on the Tenn. side.
