Well, I've searched and got some vague replies but I need to know for sure. I'm guessing it's somewhere in the mid 12's???????????

Personal experience/witness only please.....

 

DTC knocked down a 12.8 on street drags ... not sure how much others are doing on street tires. so lets start with that.

J&d motorsports (Dave) ran 12.7@110 witch is pretty fast on streets.

 

I NEED SPACE ran 12.91 at 114mph on azenis with stock shocks and some wild wheel hop with a 2.2 60ft. at carlsbad

stock doors and all glass. CRX

 

Some guy in NC went 12.5 on nitto.

 

I got 13.9@101mph on my street tires at stock pressures.

Elevation sucks **** here.

 

i know this dude that has a fully built gsr bored to a 2.2L that ran a 12.23 on drag radials!

 

i ran 15.37@91mph

 

fastest local tim ei know of is 13.00 on bfg's. hopefully ill better that time soon

 

So something mid 12's would get a guy this title???

I hit 12.56 at 112 on nittos. that was in an ek though. motor is going in a 90 hf now and i should have it done and ready to race at battle next weekend in va. not sure what it's gonna run but the hf has to be a couple hundred pounds lighter.

 

When i went to school in Chicago last year. My buddy hit 12.45 in his h22 eg hatch on drag radials.....

my fastest time was 13.2@107 on firestones.....and they are still on my car in one piece.

 

street tires guys not DR's.............unless that is what he ment

aren't DRs considered street tires? they are legal on the street.

I think DR are street tires because they are " street legal " BTW I think Jerry from ImportBuilder has the fastest all motor on street tires if im not wrong? im not sure but I remember seeing a post on Clubsi saying he ran 11.80. Full interrior with full exhuast system.

 

He did run 11.80's, but it was on slicks, not street tires.

ya.. he did... o ya... btw... max ran a 11.8 while breaking towards teh end...

 

IMHO DR's are street tyres. I'm talking driving to the track, adjusting tyre pressures and racing.

Still in the mid 12's, huh?
