how to get water out of an engine?
ok so i bought this car that was wrecked, it ran fine though. the car was sitting w/no hood. this morning the guy calls me and says that somone stole the spark plugs/and wires, and it was raining really hard all night. what should i do before tring to start it?
change the oil, and then turn the engine over with the spark plugs out. Some water should shoot out of the holes.
You know how if you stick a straw into your coke, and put your finger over the end, you can pull some coke out? I'd do that a lot, until you're not getting much water out. Then, leave it in the sun for several hours.
It'll be hard to start, but once it kicks over, it'll be ok. You'll want to change the oil again.
