I took the DC Sports catback off the car and installed the RSR stainless catback, which was an excellent move. The car is as quiet as stock when you're driving normally, but sounds good when you're on it. I was getting sick of the "droning" noise while driving a few hundred miles at a time, and this was the fix, and no losses on the butt dyno, and off to the real dyno on Friday.

This is the "older" RSR, which was discontinued, but I bought it off someone on HT brand new. If you ever run across one and wonder if it's nice, well, I can tell you it is EXCELLENT.

 

congrats on the purchase. i'm surprised that you switched...the dc comes highly recommended.

 

I have the same one on my Integra! Cops don't look twice, and it's only a scant bit louder than stock. I rove it.

 

The DC is nice (full stainless except for the flanges) but it's about a 7.5 on the loud-o-meter. It's for sale if anyone in the Northeast is interested... $125 FIRM takes it - you need gaskets and a couple bolts.

I spent bingo bucks on it, and it does free up HP, but I'm gettin' old and quiet is the way to go to keep stunnas and the cops at bay. Again, no HP loss (I think) but the dyno will tell...
