Default Stock Door Lock Remote

Ok, does any one know where i can get a stock one button remote for the 4 gen? I lost mine and I need another, but i don't want to have to go to the dealer and have them special order one at a "special price" for me. Does anyone have they want to let go for cheap or know where i can get one. Thanks

your going to need to go to the dealer anyhow to get it reprogramed. why dont you just get an alarm installed that has a power door lock option.

well, when my $500 alarm on my first lude did nothing to prevent them from stealing it, i decided its a waste of money to get a real alarm. If a thief wants your car they will take it no mater what alarm you have.

Get a DEI brand Viper 350HV ($200 installed) alarm and a DEI 515R back-up siren. The alarm will give you the standard keyless entry, dual stage impact sensor, ignition kill, and VRS (vehicle recovery system). The 515R back-up siren will prevent the actual theft of the car. Most cars are broken into, hood opened, and the siren cut or broken into and the brain disconnected. The 515R will work just like the siren that the alarm comes with except if you try to cut the cable, disconnect the brain, or remove the battery terminal, it will go off until the built in battery drains out or you manually turn it off with the provided barrel lock key (individual coded). Plus Viper gives you a first year insurance deductable coverage up to $2500 and if you buy a radio on the sameday of the alarm purchase, they give you insurance on the radio for free. They even cover monitors.

By the way... the DEI 515R is $80 installed. Autosound Specialists in Westminster, CA (714) 891-8779 can answer any other questions. If you really still just want the factory Honda remote, they can get that too.

Will the 5th Gen's remote work on 4th Gen.? If so, I've got two remotes that I don't use that I can sell them for cheap. That is, if I can find them. Let me know if you are interested (and I have to find them).
