i was out testing my car and a few funny things are happening.....
my car on wide open throttle and on a hard downshift, the car is breaking up....the vtec hesitates....sputters a bit...then pulls and then breaks up...kinda like im hittin an early rev limiter...at times it sputters then pulls...and sometimes it just kinda "revs out".....could it be from a. not high enough octane b. o rings in the vtec solenoid or oil pressure sensor messed up...
I have enough oil so i know oil pressure is not low, but the breakup is sparatic throughout the powerband...sometimes before vtec...sometimes during vtec...sometimes at the top of a gear....
Im currently running about 12 5 compression on 93 octane with octane booster....
if anyone knows about this problem please help me out...
oh and please no off topic posts on this one...

did you try adjusting the mixture either with FPR or Apex or Fields controller....
you might be running rich or very lean.....any signs off overheating or detonation....

Run a range colder plug because of the high compression. Also, check your ignition timing as well as cam timing.
Those three things should definetly solve your problem.
