the piping on my car is a bit rigged and welded. im wondering which components of the exhaust system i need, in order for it to bolt on perfectly.

of course ill use a b16 header, would i then need the cat conv. off of a 92-95 hatchback? what about the rest of the piping? thanks alot

Hi,

This goes for all B series motor in a EG HB. Use the catback and cat off a stock dx or si and everything will bolt up. CX or VX piping will not work.

 

Well the logical response would be the stock exhaust from a eg4(Vti) or eg6(SiR) plus cat. Is there a state side umm ?EH? that has a sohc vtec motor? That should be similar to the vti's pipes sence it is sohc. When I swapped the exhaust on a friends eg4 I noticed that his was the same as my stock pipes.
It would probably be cheaper just to get some aftermarket exhaust than buying oem new.

 

thanks for the responses, the most important was the cat conv. , now i know which one to get. my car is currently running a custom pipe form the headers. now ill just go pick up a 92-95 dx cat and rework the custom piping, thanks alot guys.
