im thinking about putting some 94-97 tail lights on my 98 ssbp in the future... hmm.

I have a 98+ bumper and tails on my 95. I had the 95 lights with a 98+ bumper and it looked..... stock, but everyone thought it looked better all red, probably because the car is red. My buddy with a black R wants to put my 94-97 lights on his car. It will probably look pretty good because of the smoked edges.

Anyways, go for it. It will be a rare combination to have 94-97 tails on a supersonic blue gsr. It will be so subtle that most people don't notice, but sometimes that's the point. Ignore the people who are claiming it's gay, at least your not putting on Altezzas or "JDM" ones just because they're "JDM".

agreed....i think both will look fine and it will deffinitely be sumthin new and unique

I like the amber as well.

Kids who dont know better just jump on the "all red" bandwagon.

 

i think the ambers look better, plus they look similar to the JDM ones, not to mention most stock tails i see are 98+ because most 94-97's's are riced out with altezzas

Go for it... The amber looks 100x better.

I've seen a girl on here w/ a SSBP GS-R w/ "all amber lights", i.e. 94-97 tails and OEM front bumper lights.
