I went to sleep at 10pm last night and woke up at 1am with a craving. My craving was to drive my R So I grabbed my keys and opened the garage door and zoomed out. Off I was, to the freeway, with a open lane I hit vtec on every gear except 5th and went on cruise mode. I drove the R for about 30 minutes and came home and went to sleep like a baby.

*any1 ever do this* or am I just crazy

 

When I first got ym R two summer ago me and my buddy used ot do this all the time. Go driving at like 1 am or so; get home around 4 am. Get up at like 7 for work.

Fun times.

 

yeah i drive my car to let of steam, or just relax no matter what time it is. now its harder to do at night because im too drunk to drive. but before work sometimes ill leave an hour ahead to just drive around and relax. gotta love the R, espically on boost

Same here, when I first got mine, I used to do it all the time. Only differnce is I would actually end up going to eat or something. I would drive around downtown a bit, then get a nice omlette, drive back home and go to bed

 

yup VTEC ownZ Mee hopefully when I am done with my n/a setup I will do this more often

 

ha i sometimes have that urge, especially when i get something new on it. but then i end up falling asleep again.

seriously, only thing to wake me up in the middle of the night is cause i need to barf from drinking to much or **** from drinking too much

What do you do when you've been smoking too much? haha

 

Yeah I used to do it all the time when I had my R. It would happen when I would leave my buddy's house to go home and I would get on to the freeway and just open up all the way to 5th but not redline. But only for a few secounds becuase of the my fear of cops and my exit was pretty close.

Edit: I drive just for the hell of it all the time, hence the 40k+ on my 01

i go driving when i get angry but i try not to so i dont do somthing ill regret

 

i'd do it except i have neighbors who live above my garage and complain about the noise it makes if i need to get something out of the car...damn 4-plexes...
