Default Would this help to quiet down my exhaust?

What would be better? Just one pipe coming off the passanger side with a glasspack or split into a Y pipe from the header and put two glasspacks and make them come out both sides? Mind you they will be tucked away so you cant see them.

My exhaust is all screwed up and I'm goina weld one together myself. What would be more quiet? Just the one coming out the passanger side (one glasspack) or two coming out both sides (two glasspacks)

Edit : By the way, I don't have the money right now for anything fancy, I just need something to get me to school and back without having my hearing go.

either one would be really loud and crackly, just put to resonators on one pipe coming out the back that is nice and quiet

it basically is a muffler, it helps quiet down exhausts. most cat backs use resonators in there piping to keep them from being really loud and raspy

How much are those?

Don't worry about making it the MOST quiet thing either.. I have Magnapacks on my Mustang (which are really just dual glasspack catbacks) and they're a little soft for what I want for that car... So anything about that level or softer is good...

Actually a glass pack IS a form of a resonator. Same concept applies but some are more restrive than others. If you want to quiet it down the most definately only go with one pipe and if anything just run 2 glass packs in the same line. But you could always go with like a cheap turbo muffler in combination with the glass packs as well.
