Default Mild b20vtec Dyno tune at Trackmasters

My first run was pertty low because my air/fuel was srewed up and I was running a chip Prospeed-performance b20vtec program.

My setup:
Hondata s2000 tune by trackmasters
skunk 2 cam gears
skunk 2 stage 1
Stock b16 head ( no port job )
Stock b16 valve train
stock b16 intake manifold and TB
Stock 240cc injectors and fuel pump
B16 Tranny with Clutchmaster stage 3
JDM b20b
Stock rods
Ross 11.5 cr piston
JDM DC 4-1 straight flow to Es oval 2.5"
B&M FPR

here the graph

let me know what you guys think ... thanx

That's pretty freakin impressive considering your running pretty much stock except for your pistons. Good job!

that pretty hot bro. i run a b20 vtec in a ef si. my best so far is a 14.50 @ 95
60 ft 2.35. when i ran it i was having distributor problems due to the ignitor. the tires i ran on were cheap as **** too. all stock internals with pretty much all the bolts you can do to allmotor. it runs like a beast right now so you should be good to go sittin in mid-low 13s with traction.
there was a 93 hatch layin down 185 whp turning high 12s-LOW13s on slicks.
good luck on your ets when you take it out.

This chart right here proves why I love the Skunk2 stage 1 cams so much. Just look at your midrange! Decent peak whp #s, but the midrange is great looking.

Remember, bigger displacement likes the slightly smaller cams.

looks purdy good. id lower the vtec down a little though. what fuel pressure are you running? we were maxing out the stock 240cc injectors at 170hp in our b20vtec. i bet that car is fun as hell w/that b16 tranny...

did dude mess w/ign timing much? we gained quite a bit playing with the timing

ours made 183hp and 135tq (it was 135 from 4700 rpms to 7400 rpms .. nice and flat )

stock b20 block and stock b16 head/manifold, ctr cams, itr TB, 280cc prelude injectors and jdm dc 4-1 header... all tuned w/aem ems

Nice power you made ! I am currently running on 64psi and I have no idea if im maxing out the injectors or not ? They play with ig/timming a little bit not alot. I only had 1 hour of tuning and thats not enough to make good power. Im hoping to go back with my ITR intake manifold/ ITR TB / rc 310 cc injectors.

Definitely use teh 310s. However if you get the time, play around with the manifold/TB combos. I've been told that the smaller b16 TBs on the R manifold make good power in the mid range due to its venturi effect. Get some more dyno time...I see you making a lot more power.

Anyway yes they did play with the timing. Most of the time when you have a hondata they will do it through the computer.

Thanx bro, Do the b16 tb and itr intake manifold make good top end power beside making good mid range also ? If so then i could save some money and invest it in more dyno tune. Thanx!!

Well, TBs typically dont make any hp at all except for on turbo applications. I mean you might pick up a pony or two up top, but nothing much. But if it adds to midrange withough sacrificing anything up top, then it's probably worth it.

The only way to tell is to just try it out.
