background, b16a swap, I/E chipped p28 in 92' dx hatch. Basically what happens is the check engine light comes on, it backfires, falls on its nose, let off..........give it gas slowly, light goes off, is ok for 60 seconds, does it again. New plugs, cap, button, wires, etc. New fuel filter, pump, etc. I am stumped. Brain is dead . So I am putting my wrenches down for the night, gonna plea for help on here and let my conscience clear.

 

I had a similar problem with my rex. i tried adjusting the idle but it works for a little while. That engine was just a pos. I ended up taking a big lost.

 

What cel is it throwing?

 

I am gonna check it tomorrow and update you guys, I just need to get away from it for awhile. Not like I would throw a wrench at it but I just need to clear my head.........you guys know what I am talking about right?
