Stock Prelude

ok, my friend has a 1998 prelude(i believe), type sh triptronic or whatever

he was running it bone stock and pulling 16.7s

what is the norm for an SH?

SH models only came in 5-speed, your friend does not have an SH, he got had

he has a base model SS (sport-shift), that's all, and yes, they are slow

edit: SAM beat me to it

triptronic = SS (sport Shift) is the slower model of the 5th gen.

not to be a dick, but for future references on what cars run... try http://www.google.com and type in Honda Prelude SS quarter mile times or whatever car you are looking up. It's that easy.

Bingo, the best stock SS Lude time I've ever heard of was between 15.5 and 16 flat.
