This is what happens when you're a dumbass.
The fix:
I'm posting these pics for snake01, who in his we todd did moment neglected to tighten and/or stake the countershaft nut. The tranny had about 6000 miles on it since reassembly when it seized up , in reverse at 5 mph, thank god.
1 bearing, 1 nut, and a little TIG welding should fix her up just nice.
Well I don't think the nut would back out if the cshaft was spinning in its normal direction, but still, happy nothing else was damaged.
