I had the same thing happen. One other thing that happens (the other two posts are right) is that when you deccelerate you may get some popping from you tail pipe because your exhaust valves are open when your plugs fire. good luck! Ahknodd
Yep...what everyone else said. when my friend installed his cam gears he was off by a few teeth and the car ran like "crap" slow as heck off the start. That's how we knew that the belt was off.
we mean the grooves(teeth) on the camgear.......well the alignment marks when i TDC are off by 1 tooth. the marks are supposed to be perpendicular to eachother but when the belt slips it will be off.
