Default H22 in a 5th gen, wiring problems

I just put a motor into my friends accord and everything was going smoothly until we came to the external coil. what has to be done in order to run this coil. I read on collective racing.com that external coiul has to be switched to internal coil. why is this? is there anyway to use the external coil?? this is the only thing left on the car. by the way, I'm going to post pics of the install using the Euro R manifold. that thhing looks pretty good on the motor, even though it was somewhat of a pain in the *** for a few things like the IAC and the fuel rail.

for a while, i had my external coil zip tied to the motor somewhere. my friend told me i could unplug the coil, and jump the plugs with a wire, and no more need for the external coil. kinda like jumping hte plug to pull the CEL code. it works fine, and ive had it like that for the past 20k miles or so, and no problems. i jumped the plug with a 12 guage wire and taped it up with electrical tape. cheapest way to get rid of the external coil. hope this helps.

if we're using the F22B1 harness , where does the coil pack plug into? there is a plug harness on the JDM H22A engine harness , but not the F22B1?
