Won the all motor class at a local event this weekend....
I ran a 12.01 at 115.13 mph to their 12.327 at 109.38.
That's me in the red shirt looking at my MSD digital 6 that had crapped out that morning.

if you go to http://www.b20vtec.com and look under fastest NA B20vtecs you'll find the setup.
Congrats Jeffro - it's about time!!
Kickin' butt and takin' names!
I love that pix too - "everyone stand back, this thing's gonna blow!"
Hey, can we see timeslip and dyno numbers? Video perhaps?
Lata dood!

congrats ... car is awesome ... I think you pulled 11's already if I'm not mistaken !!!
get a cage !!!

Shifting at about 8600 rpm. I haven't taken it to the dyno yet so I'm not sure where exactly the power is dropping off yet. I may be able to rev it a bit further. I'm just in no hurry to break the motor. I have another event in two weeks.
The 60 footers are 1.7's with the occasional 1.8's. For that day, they were 1.771 and 1.773 were the best. The rest were shitty because we were afraid of getting DQ'ed for no cage. Thankfully the heat was enough to slow us down.

Well done, mate!!!
You gotta lose some weight from the rear. That axle we were talking about is where it is at....

The next event at KCIR will be later in the summer. There is an event June 14th at Joplin, about 2 hours south of here.
Thanks for the nice words. I need to figure out why I have the mph but not the et to go along with it. Hopefully the rear just needs to get stiffer.
Thanks for the pic Aussie.
Here's another pic or two.

That Mph sounds wierd...how'd you pickup 3mph in like a month, without really changing anything? Maybe the timing system was all jacked...You must be weighing in at about 1900 W Driver, or less...guaranteed. ClubSiRacer was trapping 6-7mph higher than he ever has at the same track, same day...therein is the answer.
PS: Don't think Im hatin on you, Im just trying to figure out what the deal is...

I added the fiberglass hatch from last time and also an electric water pump. With the pump having to be taken off, so did the timing belt. I'm wondering if the timing is a little off from where it was, because I expected more power and mph from the water pump.
This car has not been dyno tuned yet.
The car can be a street car. I haven't been driving it because I don't have the time to take the exhaust on and off all the time. After the next event on the 14th she'll be back on the streets and I may see what it does on street tires too.

OK, it looks like more than a couple people had higher trap speeds that day than usual... but also consider that Jeff had installed the Lexan hatch on the CRX - there's some weight reduction... but I don't think enough.
Jeff prior best = 113.66 mph and about 1925 lbs. = (113.66/234)^3*1925 = 220.6 whp (approximately)
Jeff new best = 116.38 mph and 220.6 whp = 220.6/((116.38/234)^3) = 1793 lbs. or 132 lbs. lighter than before. The hatch probably lost 60lbs. at most, but the water pump probably freed up a couple of horses too.
Now using Jason's numbers I certainly know Jason (SiRacer) didn't lose much if any weight between both runs. He normally weighs in at 2660 lbs.
Jason prior best = 109.19 mph and about 2660 lbs. = (109.19/234)^3*2660 = 270.3 whp (approximately)
Jason new best = 116.11 mph and 270.3 whp = 270.3/((116.11/234)^3) = 2212 lbs. or 448 lbs. lighter than before. There's no way - I'd say boost creep would be a possibility, but hell it's a supercharger not a turbo.
What's really weird is that both these gentlemen gained/loss no more than a 1/10 of a second in their ET's - but gained ~ 3-7 mph. That's screwy.
Anyway, that's just my mathematical $0.02...
