Mid to low 14s and maybe high 13s depending on driver, tires, altitude(height above sea level), and weather.

With a stock B18c5 you could do anywhere from high 13's to high 14's

The b18c5 will be better in the long run...

If you boost the d16 then you can pull some nice numbers, but going all motor with the b18c5 will be more reliable and pull mid to low 12s with the proper setup on a si hatch. And maybe later you might decide to boost the b18c5, then you could have some sick power in the hatch and pull even better numbers on slicks that is.

since you have a good engine already (D16z6) Just turbo that motor.

I'd figure the B18c5 will land you about 14.0-14.4 depending on Etc. etc. But that's a $4000+ swap. as is where a Turbo for a D16 is about $700-3000. Depending on how much you want out of it.

I'd say stick with the d16 and boost it. I'm doing the same and I hope to hit mid 13's for under $2000 (including my whole swap)

Rhyne</TD></TR></TABLE>This is very true, you are going to spend alot more $$$$$$ on building the B18C5 n/a or boost than you would on the SOHC.

If you want to get anywhere near toughing that Evo you saw, you'll need a b18 and quite a turbo. FI'ing a d16 or running a n/a b18 probably won't do it, without some excessively good parts and tuning.
