Brake Pads
I have a 01 Accord Coupe V6 with 24000 miles on it. I have decided to replace the brake pads and tried to buy some online. I came across this site called speedycarparts.com and noticed that they sell brake pads and all kinds of parts for the accord. After I entered all my vehicle information, I came across this page with several different kinds of brake pads, and I ended up order the first one with the descriptions: Brake Pad Set N1010-57760. I was wondering if I had gotten the right brake pads for my car as in quality and type. Are these OEM brake pads? Thanks for your help.
OEM? Most certainly not.
Decent quality? 50/50 chance...
Best is to go to a local auto place...Autozone/Kragen. If anything, if they give you the wrong ones (yes, this happens), an exchange is simply a ride in a friends' car. Personally, I'd stick with OEM Honda pads if your doing regular driving for the most consistency and quality (quitness, stopping power, quality). Always ask for a discount & call around.

Normal driving with occasional emergency stopping
I have 47K miles and haven't changed my pads yet. This is way over the 24-29K range mentioned in this thread.
1. What kind of mileage is everyone else getting on their OEM pads with normal driving?
2. Is there a cheaper place to get OEM pads or do I just need to pay dealership prices?
