I would definitely do an in-tank pump... think about it... you're going to have to remove the old, stock fuel pump anyway

why would you have to remove the stock fuel pump to run an inline fuel pump?

i think for the effort, it will be worth it. do the in tank then u wil never ever have to go up in there again. it isint too hard, i had to put a new tank on mine. just make sure u run it low and then try to drain whats left out of the plug

DEFINITELY! Your car is old as it is. And old fuel pumps tend to conk out, leaving you walking wherever the pump decided to quit. Replacing the pump can not only give you more power. But you will have the peace of mind of knowing that your pump is not going to strand you.

i would have gone with inline to save the hassle but you cant argue with one less thing to worry about on a old car.

Get a type or GSr or Civic Si (DOHC) pump.
They are all the same and they fit a CRX bracket with very minor mods.
I have a type R pump in my B18C5 powered CRX
