Default Rebuild or Swap??

This summer is gonna be my chance to transform from slow to Go. I'm planning on a good legal setup for my EH3. The thing is, I am debating on which setup to go with due to strict CA emissions I'm thinking LS-vtec, since I'm a torque fien. But my friend say's that it's a bitch to smog that setup. Or i can go the opposite route which many have gone before, Build/Rebuild my D16z6. Comments and uplifting remarks are welcome

IMO, B18c1 or LS.....either way, you can build appropriately on each motor, and they will respond very well to bolt-ons and such

i am using an LS in my hatch and i could not be happier....just enough torque and power to keep me sane

What ECU are you running for your LS? Just wondering because my friend runs his stock CX ecu for his LS setup and it runs. Its lacking major High rpm gains tho. Just wondering if I will be able to use my p28 for an LS heart. **HUmmmmMM??**

i'm using the LS stock P75

you could use the p28, but you'd get the vtec sol. CEL

i'd just find a p75 at a junkyard for like $20

ditto.. rebuilding the other motor will do nothing for you show wise or speed wise... besides LS VTEC has torque(as you know) and torque can keep you happy

my book LS VTEC always
